Collection: Pallet box

A plastic pallet box, also known as a pallet bin, bulk container or Dolav box, is a large plastic container with integrated runners or feet. You can move it using a forklift or pallet truck and stack it on another box to make use of your available storage height.

Our pallet boxes are available in industrial pallet dimensions of 1200 x 1000 mm or Euro pallet dimensions of 1200 x 800 mm. Their capacities range from 500 to 700 litres, with an empty weight of approximately 33 to 42 kg. These figures help you calculate the space and handling capacity needed in your warehouse.

The price depends mainly on condition. Damaged boxes are the most affordable, new boxes cost the most, and as-new boxes fall between the two. We do not supply wooden pallet boxes, boxes on wheels or rental boxes.

The contents determine which construction is most suitable.

• For food products, choose a new box. All new boxes in this range are suitable for food contact and withstand temperatures from -10 °C to +60 °C.
• For fruit, vegetables and other products that need ventilation, a perforated pallet box is a practical choice. New perforated models have a capacity of 690 litres. As-new versions are also available with perforated bases and side walls, allowing air to circulate around the contents.
• For products that need protection from dirt and moisture, choose a solid plastic pallet box with a matching lid. A watertight version with a capacity of 565 litres is also available in Euro pallet dimensions.
• For heavier loads, the as-new Dolav box supports 1,000 kg and has a stacking load of 5,000 kg. It withstands temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C but is not suitable for food products.
• If price is your main consideration, a damaged box still offers a load capacity of 500 kg. However, it may have cracks, holes or missing runners and may no longer be stackable. Damaged boxes are not suitable for food products.

New pallet boxes in 1200 x 1000 mm format have a load capacity of 500 to 650 kg. Most support a stacking load of 4,000 to 5,000 kg, meaning the weight that can be placed on top. Models in 1200 x 800 mm format support loads of 500 to 700 kg.

As-new means the box has been used but remains in good condition. The as-new Dolav version is specifically described as having no cracks or holes. Damaged means the container is still usable but no longer fully intact. Check the condition before choosing a box for stacking or demanding handling conditions.

Lids are sold separately and are only compatible with the box type for which they were designed. The matching lid is indicated with each box. Adding one helps protect the contents from dirt, dust and moisture.

Not every material belongs in a plastic pallet box. For bulk liquids, an IBC container is intended. For heavy metal components that you need to see through the sides, a steel pallet cage offers a load capacity of up to 1,000 kg. For harvesting loads of up to 1,500 kg, consider steel potato crates.
